After years of photographing weddings full-time, I’ve come to realize that my passion lies in capturing the details, the real moments both large and small, that make each celebration uniquely meaningful. With a background in graphic design, I’ve developed an eye for detail and a love for intentionally curated spaces and events. The intentionality of each couple I serve continues to shape my work as wedding styles and photography trends evolve. It's both my attention to detail and love of storytelling that allows me to create images that are relevant to current trends while remaining timeless and true to each couple I photograph.
Although I am an avid fan of extra frothy morning lattes, New Girl, and other such universal delights, there's a bit more that I'd love to share about myself and why I've pursued this career...
I love Jesus. Since I was a young child, I have been growing deeper in my relationship with my Savior. I could shout from the rooftops how His influence on every part of my existence grows more and more apparent each day. In other words, His love and the values I hold are at the crux of every service I offer. My adoration for people, for the covenant of marriage, the value of family, and the desire to work to the very best of my ability all stem from the truth I hold to — that He is Lord.

Outside of photography, I’m happiest when I’m creating with my hands — whether it’s sewing, quilting, knitting, cooking or baking. I find so much joy and purpose in creating beautiful things for my family to wear, enjoy, or eat. Some of my favorite memories are centered around the table: sharing a coffee with friends, enjoying a long sabbath dinner with my family, or gathering around a charcuterie board with our other couples in our community. I’m drawn to the everyday moments that bring people together, and I love exploring new creative projects, trying out new recipes, and finding little ways to make life beautiful at home.
Here’s a little glimpse into life with my husband, Bennett and our daughter Margot Jane (the namesake of this little business - even though it developed long before she was born).

As I raise my daughter and strive to create a childhood for her that feels magical and nostalgic, I am inspired by stories of traditions passed down from both my own family and others who have gone before me. The tales we share remind me why capturing people matters in the first place.
My Grandmother's Jewelry
Everyday I wear my grandma Jane's gold wedding cigar band. When I look down at my hand, I am not only reminded of my love, but of hers, and the generations of love that came before me. Heirloom pieces carry decades of memories and I am endlessly inspired by their timeless beauty.
Handmade Textiles
Something that I prioritize greatly is wearing & using textiles that are natural fibers and sustainably made. It's always such a treat to hold and feel handmade textiles because it is obvious how much patience, care, and creativity have been woven into every stitch. I strive to always bring that same intentionality to my photography work.
My Daughter's Laugh
Nothing sounds sweeter than the giggles of a 1 year old. Musics to my ears that serves as a reminder of the overwhelming joy of this life in Christ!
